Every week we get together and somebody comes up with a good topic to discuss however I have ran out of ideas. It can be random topics. Last week we discussed if we won a million dollars what we would buy. The week before that was if we were on a plane that ran out of gas what would we do? Any ideas?

Possibly something from a historical perspective that would/could have change today's society?

Such as: What would have happened if Britain had defeated the colonial army in the War of Independence and maintained control of America?

Or: If Britain had signed a peace treaty with the Nazis (if Lord Halifax had been Prime Minister instead of Churchill) how do you think this would have affected the rest of the world?

I'm taking it from a British view but i'm sure there are plenty of US ones you can think of.

How about talking about the lack of common sense in society today. Like how people driving never pay attention to people trying to cross the street in the crosswalk, and how they are more concerned with making a right on red, and not the person trying to cross the street who by the way has the right away? Things along that line, not exactly that, but just common sense things that somehow have been lost.
