What is it with Denver?

They alternate between winning by 40 and losing by 40. They play tough against Green Bay, Pittsburgh, and Jacksonville... then they get killed by Oakland and Detroit... and now they beat Kansas City by 34. I just can't figure them out.

What's with the inconsistency?

I think Denver's biggest problem this year has been a very inconsistent defense. The O has been decent but not great, but at times it seems the D can't stop anybody.
