Osama Bin Laden is part of Al-Qaeda (not sure on the spelling as I've seen at least 2 spelling used). He has been attacking America and other countries for a long time because he has extreme views of how people should behave. He is from Saudia Arabia. The more I learn about America's presence outside of the U.s. the more I understand (or so I think) why some people/groups are rebelling. Our culture seems to be spreading like wildfire and it's not all good. I can see why some people would be resentful of that as the primary factor is GREED. We aren't promoting our culture for altruistic purposes. If we want to slow down the violence then we need to be more respectful of how other people choose to live even if it means reducing how much money we make. Everything has a cost.

I am not sure where you have been, but everyone knows who Bin Laden is?
He is a exiled Saudi citizen who fathoms himself as a freedom fighter. He initially was working to help the Afghan free from the yoke of Russian invasion. The US initially sent arms to help and after that did nothing to further the cause after Russia defeat. Bin Laden then made the US his enemy and started bringing in to his camp all the discontents around the world to fight terrorist actions in there countries.

bin laden and husane were freedom fighters back in the 70's . the reagan and bush admin. supported them and made a lot of promises they never kept. all the chaos is nothing but a personal vandetta. if they would have kept their word the world trade center would still be standing. it's amasing how filthy some people can be in our own gov.
