There is no difference. An iPod is an MP3 player. "iPod" is just Apple's brand name for their MP3 players.

It's the same thing. An ipod is an mp3 player. Two or three years ago, ipods used to be the best mp3 player out there and were also sort of a sign that the user was serious about his or her music. These days, they are pretty common and there is nothing special about them. You will also be able to find other mp3 players which are more practical and are of better value than the ipod like the sony 800 series which have the same capacity as the ipod nano but are built better and have better sound quality.

An MP3 player is an device that plays music files. An Ipod is a BRAND of an MP3 player. There are many other brands of mp3 players. If you are not sure what brand is best look online and watch for user reviews to see what they say. In my opinion Ipod is one of the better choices.

Just brand names.
Ipod is Apple, and MP3's are a variety of brands.
Just go with one that has a higher GB that will hold more songs.

Mp3 is a format for song encoding. It is widely used in all electronic devices including IPOD.
