World of warcraft?

Hey, i got a question with world of warcraft,
my friend told me about a privite server or something where u could go in and play for free, i cant remember the website, but this isnt a lie. is there anyway i can geta free server for the game, thanks for your time

also it would be good to have something that i dont have to redownload since i already have the disc and it is installed

Private servers are against Blizzards TOS. If you have an active account with WoW, you agree to this every time you logon after a patch. Your account can be banned for playing on a private server. You might want to weigh whether losing access to your characters is worth it

It is infact the leading private server out there. You just create an account then change your realmlist file. No downloading hamachi or any server hosts and dealing with that. You can change to real WoW and the Private server in less then 15 seconds. Just go to that site and go to connection guide, And account creation.

The server gets you instant 70, tier 1-6 vendors for free. Almost every weapon in WoW are in the weapon vendors. Inculding the Azzinoth Wargalives. There is also a custom legendary armor set made by the people working with the server that you can get. The server has an average of 200-500 people online at a time. Very few bugs/glitches. It's just a really fun server. I suggest you try it.


And Raiku. You don't need a working account to do it. You can get banned but, even if you do you can still play on the private server. And there is almost no way to get caught, unless your an idiot.

And Weezy, They are bannable. It is running your own server of their game, scamming them. Since they aren't paying the monthly fee. So yeah, you don't know what your saying. But if your playing the private server, it doesn't matter if they ban you. You can still play on it.

Hi there :)

I hope you don't go to a private server because if the people decide to shut their server down you will lose everything. Besides that, it really is a lot of fun to play on a real WoW server. I wouldn't ever play on a private server because I would miss out on so much that the WoW servers offer, for example; all of the other people playing, pvp, and the auction houses being full... and being able to sell things in the auction houses to earn gold. You might be able to do some of these things on a private server but you're just not going to feel as secure, and there are just not as many players as on the real WoW servers. Plus... there's no challenge on a private server like there is on the real servers, if you know what I mean... and again.. on the real servers you know you worked for what you got... you know it'll not disappear on you one day and you can join the millions of others online and have more fun.

It's not that expensive to play... if you think about it.

There you go man, hope you know what to do..The process takes a while.

1. You need to have World of Warcraft installed of course.
2. You have to have the right patch because it won't work on the new ones.
3. You have to change some notepad into the server you want.

Your friend should have more information for you.

That guy below me don't know what he's talking about, all World of Warcraft private servers aren't illegal.

If it were all Blizzard have to do is contact the people who created wowstatus.net and sue them and private servers would be done for. It is not illegal.

Downloading World of Warcraft, then playing on Private Server is illegal but I doubt you'll get banned.

Boy are you wrong...Private Servers are not illegal. Downloading a pirated copy of World of Warcraft then playing on a private server is illegal. As long as you have the game which you can get from any 15 year old kid, install it on your computer you are good to go.

You think Blizzard don't have the power to stop private servers from running World of Warcraft...of course they do, but they don't stop it because it's only a handful of people and their still making a ton of cash off the real servers.

Anyone with a decent antivirus can stop a GM from keylogging. The only thing the GM can get is your password for the game because they are the GM. They can't hack into your computer for going on their server. If that was the case, then you can hack into someone computer for viewing your personal website.

No, they're really out there. However, they are "illegal" for numerous reasons:
- not paying the monthly fee to play
- infringing on Blizzard's copyright
- breach of EULA and ToS

They will ban your live account if they find you, and by using a private server that is public (anyone can access it), you've open up that possibility. They can subpoena your computer records/downloads/info (like they did with MP3 sharing) and you're going to be paying a huge fine.

Besides that, many private server hosts will keylog your computer, steal your passwords, and cause a whole lot more problems for you than Blizzard would.

Yes you can, i would know, i play the game myself, and have infact played on a private server. Private servers are fun, and if you can't afford the game, or would just like to play for a little fun, and get some uber good equipment, then you can play on them. however, if you do, and you get banned, it is not my fault, because i warn you now, it IS against blizzard acceptable use policy, and if they do catch you, then you will be banned. And the dude above me, yes, he is right on one thing he said, but you WILL get banned if you get cought. It happened to my friend, he had to toally re subscribe for internet to reconnect. so i dont wanna hear it from you fairy boy above me. lol, and thats also bullshit. my brother implanted a keylogger in MY computer from a totally different town, an hour and 20 mins drive away from my computer. He did this so he knew i wasn't looking at porn, evemn though i dont.
