It's not just Whites but other hate African-Americans as well but not all or some. African-Americans come a long way to fight racism, Is it real sad when Other Ethnic groups dislikes my ethnic group. I wish was something else becasue Asians, Hispanic's, Indains, Italians and etc. they really don't face racism as much. These people Have "White Features" an they can pass for white and be accepted.

Now I get along fine with black people, but it is VERY true, (as said above) that when you go to a black majority school, they tend to pick on people who arent black. They used to call me and my friends "dirty Messicans"... not Mexicans, but MESS-icans... They used to call this little white boy names like "cracker", and do a hillbilly accent to make him feel bad.
Then one time we were coloring Santa Clause pictures (Kindergarten) and one of the girls tried to make me color my Santas skin with a black crayon... I said no cuz I didnt like the color black and she told the teacher that I said I hated black people. Then the teacher started being mean to me and none of the other kids would talk to me... I spent the rest of the school year almost completely alone. Only the other hispanics or asian kids would talk to me. So, Kelis, black people are racist too.

Im half mexican american/ half asian... and I have never kissed up to a white person. My family has never kissed up to a white person, and my friends have never kissed up to a white person. We don't believe in kissing anyones @$$ PERIOD!!

I think you're basing your opinion on having spent too much time watching television and perusing YA!. If you were to get out in everyday life you'd see that race isn't as big of an issue as it is made out to be. There aren't racists on every street corner yelling their message. People are far more subtle and secretive about their views.

I can say I have dealt with blatant racism and learned to be a better person from it. I make sure that whenever an interaction doesn't go my way that I do not assume it was because I was black. I do not kiss up to whites, I simply treat everyone with the same respect I demand. It may be very small in your eyes but imagine if everyone did the same thing. And the last thing is that I love me for me and it doesn't matter what anyone else has to say about me. I know in my heart exactly who I am, where I came from, and where I am trying to go.

I'm not sure. I theorize that because us as African's are the farthest from white on the spectrum, are naturally on the fiercest end of racism. Just as in the same way, more black are racist towards whites than asians, latinos etc. It's the distance on the spectrum. Still, being one of the few blacks in a mostly white community, I noticed that racism is at an all time low these days.

What the heck?? Asians are not trying to act white. That's offensive. Suza W, I bet you're white and you think that some asians are trying to be you? pshhh. nonsense honey. I agree with Olivia! --------- To Alex, you say that you are the most non racist person out there, but you're racist to refer to Kelis like this: "go to college, start a career, get out of the ghetto. then you won't have anything to complain about." How dare you think to tell Kelis that she's from the ghetto?? And Alex, yes you have said things to make a black person's life harder. Referring ghetto to them?? That's offensive and racist. Thinking that they can't start a career and go to college? Hmph! I know many black people that do, and they have very successful lives. ------------- And since when is every race hating on blacks? Ask some random people if they hate blacks, they will most likely say no.

Where I went to school, it was roughly 50% black, 25% white and 25% hispanic (again, this is a rough estimate).
And I hate to tell you this, but blacks were known for unprovoked attacks on other (non-black) kids. I didn't witness this just once or twice, but several times. And do not say that black people are not racist; they were quite fond of uttering racial slurs at whites and Hispanics. Besides the violent behavior (which is not just fiction, it's factual!!! I know by experience), many AA have a habit of wisecracking and giving unwelcomed opinions at inappropriate times.

sigh.....

You are black. You are just as good as anyone else. You have nothing to be ashamed of - unless you are out there acting like you have no home-training. Stop with the low self-esteem thing.

There is no such thing as "white blood" or white features". Get over it and let it go.

If someone acts like they don't like you because you are black, you have the option of IGNORING them. It's called having PRIDE and maturity and going about your own business. You have the ability and choice to not allow ignorant fools to upset you.

Words of advice: Community college is not that expensive if you start off taking one class at a time. If you are really interested in different cultures or history, then just take a class.

Sorry but Latin-Americans don't act white and don't kiss your pale albino looking flat ***. We have are own diverse and beautiful culture, customs food, music and our women are beautiful and HOT. Are you crazy we act white LOL.

Most Latino coexist with Back-Americans quite well. We embrace diversity in "civilized" culture and race. Traditional Latin-American values are center on family, respect seniority and our elders, word of honor and mutual respect. We also look down own girls who are sleep around, abortion, dead bit dads and homo-sexuals. But American values has poison some Latin minds too.

Blacks not all but some seem to have an agenda of hate against others. As the gentle men above mention in school Latino, Whites and Asians are target by Blacks. They even target other blacks they notice are foreign. I know that other groups do the same but with Black-American its too too common.

You need to do some research. Black on black crime is very prevalent and statistically, as a population group, blacks make up about 10% of the population but are MUCH more likely (7X) to commit a violent crime.
Here is an excerpt from a report by the new century foundation and a link to the whole report follows.

Major Findings
• Police and the justice system are not biased against minorities.
Crime Rates
• Blacks are seven times more likely than people of other races to commit murder,
and eight times more likely to commit robbery.
• When blacks commit crimes of violence, they are nearly three times more likely
than non-blacks to use a gun, and more than twice as likely to use a knife.
• Hispanics commit violent crimes at roughly three times the white rate, and
Asians commit violent crimes at about one quarter the white rate.
• The single best indicator of violent crime levels in an area is the percentage of
the population that is black and Hispanic.
Interesting to note that blacks have the highest out of wedlock birth rate also at 70%. Compared to 26.7 for whites (I couldnt find a statistic for asian, or hispanic)

You bring up a great point, that you don't like ethnic groups that kiss up to whites. To be honest, it seems that every ethnic group (except African-Americans) kiss up to white people and try to ignore their culture. That is why I respect African-Americans.
