which college is better university of florida or Rollins? I want to go into medicine.

In regards to studying medicine, the University of Florida is definitely the better of the two choices. But why are you limiting yourself to just those two? The University of Miami has the best Med. School in Florida and is one of the top schools in the nation. They also have a dual-degree program in medicine that is very very very good. The program is very competitive though, and the University as a whole also has competitive admissions (more competitive than UF). There are also other schools that are well knwn for their medical programs in florida.
Now, if you have your mind set on Rollins and UF, then from a purely financial standpoint I would pick UF. Think about it, you will be going to school for years, you might as well save money on your undergrad education, so your not drowning in debt even before you go to med school. But if money is not a problem, then you can go to whichever school you want.
Now:
At Rollins your classes will probably be smaller, you will probably be taught by proffesors (not Teachers Assistants) and you wil probably have more access to you professors for assitance. I have known many people who have gone to UF and been disapointed because the school is so large that the educationn suffers( classes are large, professors are inaccessible and TA's teach the classes).This may not always be true but it is a challege that UF faces, because of their size. On the other hand UF does have the better reputation in the medical field.

Ultimatly, it really depends on your situation and what is important to you. You have to decide what you want from your school.

Rollins is a good college.

For the top medical schools in Florida I would recommend University of Miami which is a private school but it has a top medical program, then I would recommend UF, then FSU and UCF. All these are large schools but if you want to go to a smaller school Rollins is a great choice.
