It sounds like the taco circulator is not working. Is this a multi zone boiler? It doesn't seem to be air blockage as it was working before. The circulator is on the return end of the boiler. If it is the circulator you can open that zone up manually by pulling up the small handle on the solenoid for that unit. Now when the other zones call for heat this zone will also get warm. This will also by pass a faulty thermostat if that is not working. Try this as an emergency measure and look for the problem.

RE:
My water baseboard heat is suddenly not working. Help!! It's -4 degrees outside!?
The heat has been working fine until we woke up this morning and the house was frigid. There is no heat coming from the baseboard heaters. What can I do? I have a two year old at home. :(

Make sure that the furnace that heats your baseboard water is working. Call a repairman, and have him check it out. It could be a faulty thermostat, or air trapped in the pipe, blocking the hot water. As to the two year old, dress him warmly, and if your kitchen stove is working place him in there.

Is there a bleed valve anywhere? If so open it slowly and see if any air comes out if it does leave it open untill water comes out then shut it off. It may take a couple times to get all the air out. If water comes out to start with and it's not warm then your boiler isn't working or your pump isn't working.

First, you need to determine whether the problem is with the boiler itself or the transfer of heat to the radiators. If the boiler is running, ensure there is no air in the system. If the boiler is not running, you can find a troubleshooting guide at the boiler page on my source.
