Outside of Wrestlemania, I Belive That was The Greatest Pay Per Veiw That WWE Had in YEARS. Look at The Match Card: Masato Tanaka vs. Mike Awesome..Match of The Night, Eddie Guererro vs. Chris Beniot A Very Emotional Match And a Great One at That, Lance Storm vs. "Lion Hart" Chris Jericho. Look at The History Between Those Two Without Each other They Wouldnt Be Wrestlers. And Those are Only The Matches. The Promos Were Sick And The Storyline Leading up To it Was Great. The Pay Per Veiw Was a Winner.

It was successful because it was booked very well. The main event was just epic. I don't think TNA Hardcore Justice is going to surpass ECW One Night Stand 05. If everything goes well and is booked right,maybe.

Yes ECW One Night Stand 2005 was great. it had all the originals. it even had Mick Foley on commentary.
I also liked Paul Heyman's rant on the WWE. He told Edge that he had two words for him "MATT FCKING HARDY!"
Heyman also told JBL the only reason why he was champion was because HHH didnt work Tuesday nights.

ECW has always been my favourite.Though it is hardcore,and less wrestling,i enjoy the matches.It brings the word "entertainment" to life (world wrestling entertainment).
ECW add some extra to wrestling,and wich is why love watching it.
The matches you are talking about,are just classics.Eddie Guerrero (RIP) vs Chris Benoit (RIP) was the match of my life (after hogan vs andre the giant).
ECW one night stand has always been a good ppv (accept the last year's ppv).
Bringing back ECW is good,but theyre not getting the "classic"ecw back! wich is wat I hate.
ECW one night stand 2005,was just awsome.

That was one of the best PPVs in years. Too bad they ruined the concept the next year.
