Christmas decorations are frivolous symbols of the holiday--the real spirit of Christmas is in peace and love and giving--with that in mind, what do you think?

You shouldn't get all caught up in wanting what others have, nor should you ruin someone else's Christmas by taking their decorations!

Concentrate on counting the blessings you DO have, and register with local charities if you are really that poor. You may not get free Christmas decorations, but you might get enough assistance in other areas (food, gifts, donations) that you would be able to scrape the funds together to buy some decorations.

OR, you could try a home business where you help others put up their Christmas decorations for a reasonable fee. Along with the $$ you would earn doing this, you might be able to get left-over decorations from some of the homeowners who decided to not use them any longer. You could also check garage sales and Goodwill this time of year for almost-free second hand decorations.

Don't resort to being a Grinch!

NO! We are not talking about stealing a piece of bread to feed your family, these are Christmas decorations for pete sake. It is also against the law to steal! Hope they catch this person and lock them up.

why steal them, people are always trying to give them away because they bought something new and better ( or so they think ). The free online ads are full of it ( and some decorations ). Thrift stores usually have a good selection

Absolutely not! Besides, some of the best ornaments are hand made from cardboard and paint or colored pencils!

Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus and He doesn't approve of lying or stealing ;)

Sure. If you don't have a car, you should steal that too. Totally shouldn't just get a job and work for your own. Obviously.
