I live in India and get some funds on my paypal account now and then. I wish to transfer them to my bank account in India or add the money to my debit card. Will the transaction be safe?

Yes, paypal is safe, as long as you make sure no one gets your password. Tip - always physically type "paypal.com" into the address bar of your computer, and avoid emails that sound suspicious saying their from paypal, do not respond, and never give out your password. As long as you do this, paypal is secure and safe. I've had one for years and never had a problem, and transferred funds countless times, and they've always been smooth and successful. Good luck!

No service is safe enough unless both ends are perfect. Paypal is famous and have been trusted by thousands worldwide. But malware and poor network security on your side can compromise your details. So take care that you have updated security software a well as a firewall installed. Never access any online money transfer service from a public computer.

PayPal is a reputable company, the transactions should be as safe as anything else. I've had an account open for several years and have never had problems.

I use paypal and have never had a problem with transferring/withdrawing funds. I would say that , yes, paypal is safe, just don't reveal your username/password to anyone. Also, watch out for spoof e-mails requesting you to update credit cards etc. I have had several and have turned them in to paypal. Hope that helps.

You shouldn't have any problems. Paypal is definitely a good legit company. If you want you might want to check out their different policies and terms and try to look for ways of insuring the transaction with them in case anything were to happen.

paypal is super safe, i bought an item on ebay through paypal and ended up getting ripped off. All i had to to was call them and tell them what happened and they refunded my money right then. im pretty sure they will insure anything you buy on ebay up to 1,000 dollars. Paypal is one of the most trusted names on the internet for money transactions. much better than giving your credit card info to some random site.

I'm in the U.S. and I've never had problems with Paypal.
Make sure you type www.paypal.com, don't use links.
Also make sure that your browser has the little lock icon in the address bar and the lower corner of window.
