When I go to the Ocean (even if I was not able to see it), they sweet mist fills my lungs and the cool breeze entangles itself in my hair - I know I am near water. But being able to see the Ocean is truly a great gift. I love the Ocean and my name even means 'somebody who loves the Ocean.' Hearing the seagulls and having the sand toutch my toes is just very relaxing. And having the cool water of the Atlantic Ocean surround itself around my ankles just feels so refreshing. When the Sun (or Moon) shines down on the water, it illuminates the Earth. Looking out at the Ocean seems like you are looking out into space - you just cannot see past it. To take the time to just sit and listen to the Ocean is really something special. The light sound of waves washing on shore is like a smooth melody. Just knowing about the Ocean really amazes me. The fact that it covers most of our Planet and man still cannot reach its lowest depths amazes me. Also, the wildlife that resides in the Oceans and Seas is quite interesting. Hope I helped! :)

Describe The Sea

2016-10-16 03:26:42 · answer #2 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

The first time I approached the ocean, in California, I could see it from a mile or so away, and seriously, it looked like mountains. It was a rising immensity that seemed to conceal the horizon, because the horizon was lost in the shimmer of the far reaches of it. So I guess I might describe it that way. I realize this description would raise more questions, but that's okay. We'd be sitting there discussing, and I'd work to make it understood.

you can tell how large an area (compare it to a football field or to somewhere where they have been). You can describe it as wet. You can explain it's salty and you can float if you were out in it. You can describe the loneliness of being on like a raft with no one around for miles and miles. You can descrive the waves (or let them hear waves from a cd). You can tell them that as far as they could imagine it's just water that you can't see any land. You can describe pirates who used to steal from other ships on the sea. You can talk about how people came over from other countries to America on waters nearly the same as the sea. You can talk about how merchants for centuries would bring their goods for sale across the seas. You could say about fish that live in the sea (whales, dolphins). You could say about the wild winds and storms that could put boats in peril, about old fishermen sailors. You could discuss cruise lines.

Just like the wind that blows into ur face, imagine it so thick, wild, soft, and wet, made of water.
Tons of rain showers in a big space, bigger than ur tub, billions times ur tub's space and all salty with fish and other creatures living in, another world underneath the water.
It's a beautiful smell that starts at sand or stone and ends with the sun rising or setting down, u cudn't possibly know if it has an end or not, so wide it is...

Ya it is very easy.Firstly i will say that sea is one which is full of water. In which the fishes live and the shells are found. It is also used for travelling in boats, ships, etc. Then i would say that it is endless voyage. They are so calm and beautiful. Time passes fast in the sea.Small children plays in the sea water and even older people.During morning time people come for walking with their pets, friends, relatives, etc.
Some enjoy the horse riding on the shore. Then lovers, couples, friends, relatives chat in the shore by evening time. Some play gun shooting, cricket, etc.Totaly the sea is a very good nature place to visit.

ask them to imagine a body of water that's so huge you can't see the end of it. that's different colors, depending on how deep. that can be both warm and inviting, and cold and fierce. of course if they've always been blind it's more difficult as they don't know what colors look like.

Its a vast amount of water that is beautiful . The water flows up on land and feels cool and tastes salty. When the sun or moon shines on it is so amazing with the refection of colors from the sky. Its peaceful with a soft sounds of splashing and wind. Its the home of fish and dolphins and whales and other sea creatures. Its fun to swim or play in and enjoy the feel of cool water on your skin.
