No... they don't think it's a scandal. They're just trying to stir up commotion about it because they're terrified that Oprah's endorsement of Obama means he'll win the nomination. God forbid we have a black President, right? The world would end, in their eyes.

Dude, your a Joke! Conservatives don't give a Rats A**. Are you stuck on stupid. It's the far Left Liberals like Hilliary Clinton's campaign team that is downplaying Oprah's backing of Obama. Stop listening to Fly-Bye Media and get your facts straight.
Hey Moron, His dad came to America from Kenya, Africa we didn't bring him here, and his mom is white. So why are you talking about slaves Dumass. You must be a Democrat because there you guy's go again playing the race card. Plus No & I mean No black person has held any Gov't job higher than what Condolezza Rice and Collen Powell have held and still hold. And They Are Republicans. I'll stop here I am running out of names to call you. DYD

There's nothing wrong if it's because of what he stands for.
What is wrong is when you've never heard their political voices before. It's hard not to think some women will vote for Hillary just because she's a woman and some blacks will vote for Obama just because he's black - and in either case not considering what they actually stand for politically. How often has Oprah endorsed any other candidate ... I think that's where we have to wonder why now do we hear your thoughts and voice regarding politics.

as an extremely bigoted woman, she can endorse anyone she wants, even if the man will not pledge allegiance to the flag or country that he is running to be president of. Look at the trouble Canada and England are in with these men in politics, changing laws to suit themselves. What does Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton have to say about this?

Wow, how quick people are to call and/or play the racism card.
The issue is that Oprah may be supporting him because of his race, not his actual platform. That's a really bad precedent. That's the exact opposite of how someone in an equal society should act. We should be blind to the race of the person in favor of their ideas and standards.
If Oprah is supporting him because she thinks he is right in what he stands for, that's a completely different issue.
As a Conservative (and a Southerner at that), I can honestly say I would rather have Obama than Hillary. He's got a better position on a number of issues.
Then again, I'm still voting Republican.

Nothing wrong with her supporting Obama or anyone else, she has that right, just like any other American. As a conservative it does concern me that she might help him get the nomination over Hillary, because I don't think we can beat him, but pretty sure we can beat Hillary.

Nothing.
I just happen to think Obama is not the one to be president and it has nothing to do with his skin color.
It is the content of his character that bothers me.

if Donald Trump backed Romney because he is white, would we ever hear the end of it? he would be a "racist bastard." she cant say she is backing Obamas experience, about 2 years. she is only backing him because he is black. racism is racism.

Sorry, but I haven't heard anyone claim that her endorsement is a scandal. I have heard much commentary about why her endorsement really doesn't matter. But, that's why we have free speech.
BTW, nice dose of bigotry in your first paragraph. I think if the first answerer will reread your question, she will need to aim her racist assertions at you.
