I live on the Big Island of Hawaii and our highest mountain Mauna Kea has loads of snow right now but the roads up there are closed to us who want to get up there and play !
Bummer !!!!!
Summit temperatures will be near -4 to -5 C for the night. Precipitable water and seeing will continue to exceed 4 mm and 1 arcsecond for the night. Southerly winds are slated to taper from around 30-45 mph for this evening to 20-35 mph by the end of the night

How lovely to have a snowday! In the UK it is unseasonably mild and wet for this time of year. I long for snow as I think most people here do!

Yeah, go figure. That used to happen to me, too, since I got up earliest to get in the shower before everyone else. There were a bunch of delays for schools around here today, but not so many closings.
