I believe anything !!! 12 foot is not too long for an eel and that is a kind of fish. Or you could have the wrong glasses on,the ones that make things look bigger !!!

Yes I do !, I love fishing myself and I think it is every enthusiastic
anglers divine right to at least once in his life catch a fish so big
that he doesn't have to lie about it !.
