No, don't drink Red Bull!
I've been to the factory on a school trip and they are not just sugar, they have caffeine and they have those dangerous stuff if you drink it too many times.
And if you drink Red Bull, you'll lost all your energy the next day, so you'll need to drink another Red Bull to keep up your energy, then if you drink too many of those, it is dangerous for your health.
Just eat a lot of Carbohydrates before the match or practice and you'll be fine.
I had this problem also a while ago, my coach trained me to run laps and it seems to have gone away. Increase your endurance.
That's it!
Nice question too, I gave you a star!

If you're talking about maintaining your energy through a match, then Red Bull might work for a while but it's mostly the caffeine that does it so it's temporary. It also might be dangerous to do this on a regular basis. You see pros eating a banana and drinking Gatorade ( to replenish electrolytes ) but not caffeinated drinks.
Just playing a lot might not extend your endurance. Tennis is a game you have to be fit to play; it doesn't make you fit. Andre Agassi gave everyone the prescription for endurance in tennis: fitness training off the court.

I used to do the Red Bull thing, but I have found out that if I eat a balanced diet and drink V8 juice or Gatorade and take a multivitamin daily, my energy stays at the level that I want. However, we all have off days. I also drink coffee but I don't think that the level of caffeine in Red Bull is good for you.

No, Red Bull is just sugar - you'll burn through it. Try eating some peanut butter on whole wheat bread (like a half sandwich) or eat a protein bar. Do this about a half hour to an hour before your match.
Make sure you are eating a meal at least 2-4 hours before you play, too. If you play at 5pm and you had lunch at 11 - you won't have the energy you need to get through the match.

I would suggest eating to accommodate how active you'll be that day. Say if you plan to play tennis for a while, eat a meal before hand (an hour or two before) that has quick burning carbs and slow burning carbs and then some protein and vegetables. You want to make sure that what you eat will not completely break down before you are ready to eat again. You will be a lot healthier this way than if you were to just temporarily speed up your heart rate with an energy drink.

Red Bull isn't the best thing to drink if you have trouble keeping your energy up.
Try better sports fluids, like powerade, gatorade, or vitamin water, try a good vitamin flavor like focus, defense, etc. Or other drinks that can give you some energy.
If you want some foods, energy bars are great, chewy and crunchy, they actually work, if you're not hungry, that would still be a great breakfast and it can keep your energy up. Eggs are really good too, as Martina Navrotilova did every morning. If you have a morning match, milk and a great breakfast would be good to keep your energy up as well.
GOOD LUCK

No, do not drink red bull its bad for you i heard. I know what you mean I played all throughout high school it is very draining. Try to eat a hearty meal one to two hours before playing and drink a lot of water or gatorade. Maybe try a energy bar. I used to eat bananas too.

I would suggest taking a slow warm-up, then eating some pasta the night before you play. It's good for you. Eat light about an hour before you're going to play. Learn to move your feet and stay cool. Drink some water and take breaks. Red Bull has caffeine. I'd reccommend water or gatorade.

Bananas and Gatorade =]
Thats what I use at school when we have our All Day, All Years (like grades or w/e) tournament. It works! And make sure you have breakfast and lunch, and really good ones at that!
Me and my friends tried to keep the energy with Red Bull, I mean it works but it also has the crash at the end when you want to go sleep.......so i'd recomend energy food really

This may sound stupid but : exercise more :)
(in general) -- just will help you get more fit and to use energy more efficiently.
Also I find exercising in the morning -- although you seem exhausted at the time -- for the rest of the day it seems as you have heaps of energy -- you should try it.
Um... I dont generally drink powerade or anything like that :) I have bananas though - there good :). I thinks its because they are light or something but have lots of energy in em.
