When you ask a Q do you like one or two word answers or a few sentences that explain your answer? I like lotsa words myself!

Rarely a one or two word answer can be funny, but generally I like my answers to be fleshed out a bit. Far too easy to misunderstand intent with just a couple words.

I'm with you - I like lots of words. If it's a one word answer it feels like the person is just answering for the points. (Unless I asked a yes or no question!) The more words or explanation, the easier it is to choose a best answer to my question because I get a better feel of where the person is coming from.

Depends on the question. Sometimes I answer with one word or two, but when I feel chatty (like now) I'll atleast do a sentence or two!

The more thoughtful a person is with their answer, the more likely I am to choose that answer as "best." I also prefer to be thoughtful with my answers wherever more insight is even an option. If I have a reason for giving an answer, I'll state it, especially if I'm speaking to matters of some of my unpopular opinions.

It depends on the question. On Y/A, usually a one word answer

I have to have lots of words to explain my answer, because I have to make sure that everyone reading my answer knows in full what I am talking about!

I prefer explanations. You get a better idea of that persons views and feelings with the explanation.

Depends on question, but i prefer a brief synopsis, not a rambling long essay that i get bored reading, or a too short "yes" or "no" answer.

I like short answers. Don't like to read a book to get the point.
