The whole God is dead movement was simply a way of saying that God, the Bible and religion are no longer relevant. It was during the late 60's that that became a slogan. Part of the hedonist credo.

Merry Christmas!

God is alive and well. It can be proved because it is his essence that gives us hope and life.

The proof is overwhelming of Gods existence, although some choose to ignore it. The spirit, the beauty of nature, and most of all our very existence, is proof enough.

If what I say is not true, then how do scientists believe in a higher power? Even surgeons pray to God. I have seen many miracles. I wonder to whom the nay sayers ascribe?

'Gods' die when nobody believes in them anymore. 'Gods' serve a useful utilitarian function in all societies....when a particular 'god' no longer has the moral authority to hang on to its belivers people drift away. That's why people don't worship Thor or Mithras or Uhura Mazda anymore. The current advertised brand in the west is one of the 700 christian sects, but that's just an accident of history and the organizing efforts of the early church parents. But don't worry....just as 'disco' finally came to an end we got 'rap'....in the same way we'll never run out of 'gods'. No kiddin'!

The only way you prove allegations that one is deceased: you have to find the body.

First off, it's immaterial. Religion is a hold-over from our primitive days when we thought animals had souls and demons, sprites and fairies roamed the land.
