Carter's "Camp David Accords" haven't stopped the violence. Al Gore's movie just made him rich and have cause a stupid panic (with poor reasoning and unverified info).
Honestly, they were more concerned with making their personal marks in history than getting the job done. Meanwhile men like Reagan stopped the Cold War, or liberated nations. That's far more worthy.
