in a police car twice, once while i was getting a speeding ticket, and the other time i asked our school cop to give us a ride around the parking lot, i decided then and there that i never wanted to be in the back again!! even if it was for fun!!
as for the ambulance.. more than i can count.... in the last 24 hours i have been in an ambulance at least 8 times.. and total, more than 200 times... (my other car is an ambulance.. lol) but as a patient, never.....

Ambulance about 4 or 5 times and once a police car. I wasnt in trouble with the law though i was a witness. I had really nosey neighbours at the time so i asked the police man to handcuff me until we got into the car just for the laugh. The stories that went round my street were hilarious. lol

Never been in a police car but been in an ambulance once when i broke my ankle at work 5 years ago.

A police car, loads of times, a rather sexy(female) police officer took a liking to me when I was in my early 20's and used to pick me up from the pub at closing time when she was on duty!(she'd nicked me 3 times in a month and took pity on me) I think it was either that or(as I lived at the bottom of a hill) the Landlord had a shopping trolley he was going to put me in and give me a push!!LOL
As for Ambulances, I've been in one, a year ago, I tried to run when was late for an appointment at the job centre, had a panic attack and ended up getting a free trip to my local A+E department with a 110 heart rate!

Once each.
Got a ride home in a police car as a pre-teen when I tried to run away from home. Didn't get very far, but got a ride back.
Got a ride in an ambulance when I got struck by a roller coaster that I was operating. My fault. And, fortunately, it wasn't as awful as it looked - no broken bones, no premanent damage.
