im thinking of getting one done...does it hurt much?

No...but I've always wanted one. My dad asked me to not get one though. At one time, he even said he'd disown me LOL...I think he was joking....but he did ask me to wait......until he wasn't around anymore to see it.....sounds morbid, but he was just keeping it real....
After everything hes done for me....I can respect that and thats why I don't have one.....yet :)

I have one on the upper part of my left buttock. It is a heart with a rose blended into it. I also have my husband's name in English lettering above it. LOL I marked my *** with his name on it. This is the only and last one I will ever get. My husbands brother is a Tattoo artist. He did mine with a home made gun. It hurt at first until mother nature took over giving me my own pain medicine. If I ever do get another one I will have to thoroughly check out the cleanliness of the parlor. Scares me to death that they will not be sanitary and give me a disease or infection. This is why I don't think I will ever have another tattoo.

Yes, I have 3 tattoos. Yes they hurt but, it depends on where you get them and how much pain you can tolerate. Tattoos didn't hurt as much as I thought they would. I am going to get at least one or two more!

Yes I have a small heart on my left breast with my kids initials in it. And it doesn't hurt too terribly bad in that area, but it did hurt some. I was told by the guy that did mine, that fatter areas, such as breasts and other jiggly areas, were the best place because you didn't hit bone or muscle and therefore it doesn't hurt as bad.

No, but i might, might get a little one next year. I honestly don't want anything too big, and i want it to be special, and something, that i really understand. Either on my ankle, or my back. I don't think they hurt that much, it probably just feels like a bad scratch or something, but not to bad.

Not, I haven't. I have heard it hurts and I think it depends on the tattoo's size. But I'm not sure.

Of course any needle digging into your skin does not feel great..but its not the worst pain in the world. I say breaking a bone hurts worst.

This is the silliest thing people do with their body. In India only tribal people are fond of it. Some women get their husband's name engraved on their forearm. But when she was divorced she tried to cancel by burning her skin.
