So Al got his Nobel Prize.. what are your opinions about him and the other 10000 or so people flying into Bali, well most are already there for the UN Climate Change Conference.
Al has been circulating an email that he is on his way and wants people to sign his petition of support.
So..... they couldnt just have a video or teleconference???
10000 plus people had to jet on down to Bali for this?
Talk about a huge carbon footprint... hrm...

He buys "carbon offsets"; whatever the hell that is. But those "offsets" allow him to by his hypocrisy.
How amusing it will be when the meteorological warming trend breaks and we move into a meteorological cooling trend. The egg will be scrambled on his face.
Come to think of it, he may win another NPP at the time the cooling trend starts because he'll spin it as it was due to his efforts that there is a cooling trend not atmospheric.

the actual scientific community has got here across the existence of worldwide warming, and there seems consensus right here. people who desire to create controversy or worry the shortcoming of earnings manufacture doubt. Gore won the Nobel Prize by way of fact he's championing an attempt which will finally benefit humanity, that's easily a noble subject to do.

That entire position is filled with hypocrisy.
They use fuzzy math and so called science to try and promote social change... its funny, but many of the same people 30 years ago were putting out a huge thing about "global cooling."

And, of course, he had to continue his whine about the outcome of the 2000 election in his acceptance speech. Pretty inappropriate venue, in my opinion. Not that there IS an appropriate venue...
