My Familys computer is acting wierd!! Everytime i open up the internet the back ground has a picture and it has blue lines all over!! When I open up the internet there are yellow lines all over!! any suggestions how to fix it!!?? Please go by step to step

My first inclination is to tell you to call a repairman.
When you are not using the internet, are the colors OK? If so, then your monitor and video card are OK.
Is your antivirus software up to date? Try running it and see iof anything changes.

You could possibly have a virus. The changed look of the computer is a common virus trait. Try downloading the free AVG anti-virus at http://free.grisoft.com/ it's awesome try using that. Just scan the computer using the program and if a virus or threat is found than quarantine it. Let me know how it goes. Remember this problem might not be a virus but this is my best guess. Good Luck

A little confusing in the description... I would try a different monitor (which is easiest to replace temporarily), if that doesn't improve, it has to be the video card.
