What are your thoughts about that?

I personally think it would be thrilling to see a another classic band reunion that had made rock climax in their peak. Now, 20+ years later, they may not be as energetic as before, but I still think Zeppelin could rock the world one last time. People are skeptical of Robert Plant and how he sings, I think he sounded great with Allyson Kraus. Plus, John Bonham's son Jason, from Foriegner would take over the drums.

Yeah it would be cool, but keep in mind they aren't 30 years old anymore. They can't play allllll night long like they used to!

While growing up, Led Zeppelin was a band I followed very much. I remember listening to them while they were still a current band and even today, you can hear the influence they have on many bands with their style of play. Zeppelin disbanded in December 1980 with the death of drummer, John Bonham (RIP). Jason Bonham has distinguished himself as a quality drummer and not a side show living on the legend of his fathers name. There are many other bands today still rocking that are from the 70's and 80's such as the Stones, Eagles, Ronnie James Dio (Sabbath), Paul McCartney, Kiss, Bob Segar, Ted Nugent, David Coverdale (Deep Purple), Fleetwood Mac among others. I would love to see Zeppelin tour again and then together, we could climb the Stairway to Heaven.

Rumour has it that Led Zeppelin will be mounting a tour next year, with The Cult opening for them. Led Zep's camp deny this, but Cult singer Ian Astbury mentioned in a concert (in Ohio, I think) that they'd be opening next year for a band who's name stars with L and there's a Z in their name. And I don't think he was talking about opening for Limp Bizkit.
By the way, Jason Bonham was never a member of Foreigner. He had his own band, simply called Bonham.

John Paul Jones is the one who doesn't really want to go back out on tour. That's why this gig at the O2 is a one-off reunion ~ it took a lot of persuation to get him to agree to this.

Personally, much as I love Led Zeppelin, I would rather remember them as they were when they played live in the 70's.

I'm a teenager so I really don't know much about Led Zeppelin, but from what I've heard I would like for this reunion to happen. =]

no it would suck. I saw page and plant in the 90's and the concert sucked. The voices are gone and they only played 45 min. no seconed set. There was almost a riot. will never see led zeplin if they united.

I hope that they sound as great as they did when they were younger. We'll see I guess. I'm optimistic, since Page & Plant have been staying out there musically all along, together and seperately.
