Apparently Victoria Beckham spent over £23,000 on handbags alone?

....which is more than twice my annual salary. Anyone else think that's obscene?

Oh, and Marky, I do donate to 4 different charities and I also do voluntary work. And I would hope VB does donate more than me given our respective earnings!

Heck, Marky, I don't want to get into an argument about who should donate what; I don't know if she donates and what; I just think that £23k on handbags is a waste of money when most of use get by with one!

Angel, really? Do they do that? I know they lend film stars etc. dresses & jewellry for red carpet events but maybe a lot of the bags are given to her. Good point.

That said, I remember when she had Brooklyn and I had my daughter at the same time - I had an Avent bottle warmer thingy (£9 but v useful); she got Louis Vuitton to make her one and it cost £900!)

The woman has no social consciousness or any idea how tough the world is for many people. She is a non-thinking blob who has only meat between the ears (Remember the phrase: Meathead!!) She may be a non-living commercial ad / entity who is masquerading as a human.

I don;t want people telling me how to spend my money, so why should we tell other people?

To all the poeple who wonder why she doesn't donate it, why don;t we all foraske a holiday and donate the money to charity? Maybe you alwready do dontae, and maybe so does she, and maybe an awful lot more than you?

yes it is obscene, i couldnt even justify spending £50 on a handbag! But, it is a drop in the ocean to her, everything is relative i suppose. I mean, what else can she spend her money on, and she does have an image to keep up.

Your annual salary is many multiples of a vast proportion of the worlds yearly income. Does that make it obscene?

I am no lover of Victoria Beckham but there is not one of us who would refuse the cash that has been thrust at her for being talentless. You can't blame the girl.

No. There is always going to be people with alot of money and they will always spend it.
My wife has loads of bags. If each one was a top designer bag it would likely have cost £1000s . Fortunately they aren't, and it didn't.

I understand how you feel, but we live in an unequal world and it is becoming more so. But think of how insecure she must be a) to spend that amount and b) to make sure everyone knows.
