Edmond Gwen seems to be the most popular and would be my choice also, but Tim Allen did a great one too and so did Sebastian Cabot. Anyone else that you can think of?

well my favorite wasnt in the movies but he was on tv.mine was the coke santa,i always thought he was the real thing.40s and 50s

I grew up believing that Edmund Gwynne was the REAL Santa Claus and I think he did the best version ever. Thanks to twinkle for the link, I'm going to have fun later checking out all the info. Wasn't Natalie Wood adorable in Miracle on 34th St.?
