Did anyone else feel embarassed for all the participants - hosts, models and performers? Trying to elevate bras and girls wearing bras from a catalogue into an "event"?

uhhh no!!!! it is an event and i absolutely love the VS fashion show! i would love to be one of those models and go up onto that runway. i mean it is like any other show with clothes and dresses. you see those in catalogues too, they turn that into a runway show! so this is no different, this is VS fashion, so of course they would be in bras. i dont see why you don't see it.

If I got paid what those models are paid, I would walk down the runway naked. The point of the show is just to show off a new line of bras and panties. Also to get the consumer to buy said bras and panties. Don't be ashamed. I own 5 sets from Victoria's Secret.

I agree with you. I had better ways to spend my time than to watch a bunch of skinny women walk around half naked (at best) in overpriced bras and panties. Also, I don't know about any other women, but I don't walk around in my bra and panties and skinny four inch heels. Heck, I don't even wear skinny four inch heels.

After a couple of bad experiences with Victoria's Secret, I have no use for them. After reading in the October issue of "Parents" that Heidi Klum went back to her pre-baby weight after one month because she was under contract to do so. Ugh.From "Parents": "Reportedly, her $25 million dollar deal with Victoria's Secret bans her from 'altering her image'" Yikes. My daughter was born 12 weeks ago today I'm still about five pounds more than where I want to be and ten pounds more than what I was pre-pregnancy. While I do eat very well, I don't exercise, save for pacing with my daughter and dancing with her, either on the floor (where I lay on my back and shake my arms and legs for her to mimic while I play the music from a musical stacking to that she is other wise too young for) or walking with her. I can fit into my 14s and given that I weigh about 179, it's not too bad seeing tha I'm six feet tall. The first or second week after my daughter was born and still bloated, I saw a Victoria's Secret commercial and thought the model looked too disgustingly thin. I guess compared tot he VS models,I would look fat. I don't care. I'm healthy. Anyway, this is why i don't care for modeling over all.

Well, such routines help to publicize the company and to sell its products. I see nothing wrong with it personally. I receive Victoria's secret catalogs by mail, but it is helpful to see some of the products on TV too. I buy some for my gals.

You sound like one very un-fun person. That vegan chick answering sounds like a total party killer, too.
