I am quality conscious and due to 'quality' certain brands have long term durability in surviving their products are simply good/best. I like craftsmanship, fine fabrics and good tailoring in clothes, these are often certain brands, but I don't buy them because of the brand, I love a bargain too and have place in my wardrobe for cheap and cheerful bits and bobs. With perfume, cosmetics etc, again, you get what you pay for so 90% of what I use is not the cheapest, however there are again certain cheap products, such as 'Ponds' and Neutragena which cannot be beaten. So I guess I'm a mixture.

I think I may be influenced somewhat by commericals, but I usually make a decision based on a friend or consumer reports magazine. I will always start from the cheapest and move up to the more expensive products, such as cereal, coffee, almost anything. I have found a few products that I now rely on almost exclusively no matter what the price but I made those decisons on several different factors.

Horribly!!!! I usually only buy better brands and name brands as they tend to last longer and be of better quality.
I know a lot of people won't admit that they are but I know I am so why lie?
Plus, I've worked very hard to get to the ability to pay for name and pricey brands. I have always believed that if you work hard you can get anything you want.
BUT......names brands and pricey labels are not the most important thing in life.
God and Family are!!!

Sometimes yes, it has to be Watties for Tomato Sauce, Nescafe for my coffee(lol) and The real Weetbix(cause my son is fussy and loves them), but everything else is usually the cheaper brands as i'm a single mum so i have to count my penny's when shopping, lol Plus i go to 3 different supermarkets to really get the best deal's LOL i like to save money where i can so i can give my kids other things that they would like! If its to do with clothes then no brand names dont matter to me! :)

I think i am couple of years back, but now I'm starting to realize its not the brand that is important, its the quality. New brands nowadays have a hefty collection of excellent products.

Yes. The better the brand, the higher the quality you will receive. And unfortunately, the higher the price.

Totally. If it's not a Wal-mart brand you'll have a hard time getting me to buy it.

I want a t-shirt with the Wal-mart "Great Value" logo printed on it :D
