i always find peoples voices change when their on the phone
i think my voice goes low

Hello Welsh Me, all I know is that I sound incredibly posh on the telephone, but I think that is how I sound all the time!

My voice gets real deep. When i record my message on the answering service. It sounds like a totally different voice!

Ive got a work phone voice. I think mine goes higher

No, mines is the same, my granny used to put on a posh voice on the phone, I used to PMSL at her, and say why TF are you talking like that?, she used to wave her arms around and make faces like she was going to give me a slap when she got of the phone, which of course made it even more funny! Sooooooooo funny, we were always gauranteed a laugh when the phone rang in our house! LMFAO

I never thought about it before, but I really don't think it does. I can't see any logical reason why it would. It does sometimes take on a POd angry tone when I have to deal with the "customer service" people for certain companies and they won't give me any customer service. Does that count?

Yeh I dont really think it does but everyone says i have a posh voice when i am on the phone and i also use it when i am meetin a stranger. But i dont think i change

definately my family laugh at me when i'm on the phone i've got this very proper and polite voice on the phone and then i come off and i'm all common and slang.
don't know why i think everyone has a phone voice.

Yeah i sound light-voiced... i mean a very thin voice is what people hear on the other end.

Yeah, thats mad! Everyone has a phone voice. I'm propa common like so i put a posh one on when in the office! lol
