I'll at least take another year to make that assessment. He hasn't even started a full season.
But I do not think either guy is a long term solution for a quarterback need.

Matt Schaub is having shoulder trouble and it affects his passes. You can judge Sage Rosenfels by what he does until Schaub gets back. But the Texans have too much money invested in Matt to sit him next year. Then, if Matt can't stay healthy they may ask Sage to be the man.

Schaub definitely has potiental. He is a good QB, has had injuries and keep in mind this is the first year he has started. He is technically still a rookie since he has been a back up while in the league.
With that said, Sage is a great back up and we are lucky to have him. He makes mistakes just like everyone else. I would not be surprised with all the teams with QB issues if the Texans are given offers for Sage.
IF they are given offers I would hope they would ask for good players as the draft picks are not always our strong suit.

Schaub has been hurt for most of the season thats why his numbers have not been as impressive as they could have been he also has been without his star reciever which would hurt any QB's stats imagine Garcia without Galloway or Romo without Owens. Sage is a good quarterback but after the huge deal that Schaub signed there is no way the sit him if he is healthy

The Texans are not that bad of a team and they are a bit underrated because they have to play in the AFC south which is arguably the toughest confrence, while the bucs play in the weak NFC south.
Schaub is the better QB in my opinion even with the injuries he is not overrated and has better numbers then rosenfels.

Schaub is not overrated. I watched him play here in Virginia for four years. The man is the real deal. Sage on the other hand is an old Redskin washout and everyone knows it.

How is shaub over-rated when he hasn't even played one full year. The games I've seen him play in, he has looked really good. Just give him time....he has been plagued with injuries this year.
Having said that, Sage Rsoenfels is a very reliable backup and can start in the NFL.

He played good at the beginning of the season but ever since his injury i believe that Sage has out played him, i think that they keep starting him because he has way more talent and potential than sage and they are thinking about the future because they are out of the playoff race this year.

Yes. He was good at the beginning of the season, but now he's making a lot of bad plays and he seems to get himself hurt at least every other game.
