Just so you know, man, the Iron Maiden song "Phantom of the Opera" was released in 1980, whereas the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical opened in 1986. The Iron Maiden song is by no means a "version of" the title song. It came out first by 6 years. I would research bands like Evanescence or Lacuna Coil, or maybe Nightwish, Within Temptation, etc. to see if one of them is the band that released your song.
