I own a Samsung Digimax-130 (1.3 Mega Pixels) at Taka 20,000/- but this is a true "Battery Guzzler". Four numbers of AA size Duracell alkaline batteries (1.5 Volts each) can take maximum 16 x 2 = 32 pictures by flash light. Digimax-130 can hold maximum 16 pics in its memory and needs to be downloaded frequently. I bought Samsung some 4 years ago when the digital cameras were just getting into our market.

I bought Sony Cybershot DSC W35 at Taka 15,000/- 7.2 Mega Pixels that is much superior and economical than the previous one. Btw, seventy is approximately equal to one US Dollar.

PS. My cell phone Nokia 6680 is doing very good job for taking pictures and it is very handy too.

Yup! Its a nice little one too... I couldn't afford an SLR :( But my boyfriend bought it for me for our 6month anniversary because I wanted to do photography....

Which I am not going to do in any professional way anymore but I would still like to do a course and learn more about it...

My dad just got a new one too and omg its so beautiful! You can take a photo of anything and it looks professional! I was very impressed...
