The Exorcist is only scary if you are a) catholic or b) believe in God. If you aren't any of the above then, most likely The Exorcist isnt going to do it for you. Until last weekend I would have said the Japanese movies Audition and Ringu were the best horrors, but now I have to add the Thai movie Shutter to this list. Seek it out and watch it - very creepy indeed.

i like frightening video clips yet maximum the time the particular effects suck. that isn't any longer undemanding to discover a robust frightening action picture. i think of the exorcism of emily rose exchange into extremely creepy. gothika is an extremely great frightening action picture too.

The exorcist with Linda Blair....I watched it when I was A kid and it scared the crap out of me basically because its based in fact..another is the entity its also based on fact it stars Barbara Hershey

Evil dead, Ring 1 & 2, The grudge, Darkwater. The Japanese ones seem to be the scariest.

im honestly not scared of scary movies much. saw wasnt scary it was gross and i loved it. i saw scary movie 2 before i saw exorcist, so i wasnt scared. the only one that got to me in sooooooo long is AMITTYVILLE HORROR. lol. it made me jump a few times.
