Yep, in college. No wonder i failed my clinical internship. Changed my major, still skipped but not that frequently. Went out to eat, movies, smoked, etc because I had evening classes.

I always got detention and Saturday school in high school. I just didn't skip a class, I ditched the whole day altogether. But I had decent grades so it was cool. I also had a first period off during my senior year, I was envied.

In high school I did. I was in a co-op program where at noon I went to work, but at 11am I had to go to my co-op classroom time, I hated that teacher, so I would go to work at 11 instead.
Until my mom got a call asking why I hadn't been in that class for the past 22 days! lol. But in college I was very dedicated and excited about learning so I did not skip in college.

yes, i am in high skl and i cut class quite a lot with my friends or on my own whichever...only the useless classes or the ones i don't like. i have more fun skiving lessons with friends in the girls loo's than i do sitting through an hour of copying from a religious studies textbook!!

i even walk outta skl sometimes or come in late for the classes i like. my teachers have given up telling me off, i'm allowed to do whatever i'm not a bad student (mostly) i'm getting B grades and a few A's too in the important lessons, so what does it matter if i look a little scruffy and skip a few classes/ days off skl???

(i'm not proud of myself but it's just that bad habbits die hard and all that, ah well i guess i'll grow out of it!!)

lol

i cut skl every wednesday since last november and when they phoned up my mum to ask why i just said that i'd been there the whole time and she believed me heehee

don't thin bad of me though...i'm not a rebel or a troublemaker or whatever you might label me (not much anyways!!!)

Still do. I am working on my PHD and have been so busy lately that I haven't really worried about going to class. I always give a recorder to someone though. I do listen to the lecture or study and then do whatever homework is necessary. I don't need to be there each and everyday.
I like online study but then you don't get ANY connection with the teacher and class. Half of learning is the stimulation and enjoyment of others!!

no not yet. i'm a freshman in HS and i wanna make a good impression with my teachers. plus 2 cuts (skips) from a class = loss of credit. but i plan on skipping at least once by the end of the year.

I had a painting class that met Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We would typically spend three sessions on a work, so I would show up for only two of them and still have a more complete work than half the class. I was a madman slapping paint on the canvas, but with art, not thinking about it is where the magic occurs. :D

Yeah i did a couple of weeks ago. But don't think bad of me, it was the last days of school so i wasn't missing out on much. I offered to help with the Red Cross Blood Bank (big bus thing comes to school so student can donate blood) I didn't really want to go to my maths class so i helped even though i wasn't supposed to and in doing so i missed out on class.
!SHAME!
