Why did you let her take your dogs? Mad fool, you'll miss them like crazy, particularly now that you are on your lonesome!!! You might just have to make a trip to the pound after Christmas, no doubt there will be some gorgeous little puppies that seemed a great idea in December, but not so good for January!
