I agree. Aiming with a mouse is SOOOO much easier than analog sticks.
Wanna head shot? Aim at his head!
Aiming with analogs is such a clumsy hit and miss affair.
Also, a nice thing about WASD is there all those keys next to it, perfect for swapping to your fave weapons quick and easy!
How can you tell if someone is a FPS fanatic?
WASD are their cleanest keys...

True. Since mouse is the best hardware for shooters. With special mouse like Razer mouse ya can adjust the sensitivity easily and mouse gives u......more reflex in taking down ppl in shooter games ^^ . Imagine a xbox360 gamer has a shooting match with a guy on PC with a mouse over on xbox live then no matter how gud the guy on xbox360 is he will still lose 10-0 to the PC guy with a mouse cuz he is just too fast for the xbox360 guy ^^ lolz. hope this help

I could never get accustomed to using the mouse and keyboard, but I don't play a lot of computer games, mainly console games. I think it is whatever you accustomed to using. My boyfriend and I are comfortable with the controller, but I have many friends who far prefer the mouse/keyboard combo. If the mouse is that much better, maybe I need to get some practice in!

Definately prefer a mouse.
I think a lot of PC gamers underrate controllers, the 360 controllers are quite nice and easy to play with (H3 + CoD4 being great examples of console's growing power in the FPS market).
But i'd still take a mouse any day of the week, the point+click style is a lot more accurate, and out of gameplay, it makes menus and other selections a lot easier.
(Also, I can't alt+tab to google/msn/winamp on a console)

I think it's about personal preference and I prefer a standard controller, the mouse probably gives you better accuracy though.
