The criminals housed there are there for a good reason. They will rot in there until the day they die just as they deserve to.

Many liberal lawyers would like to have them released onto the streets of the USA.

Opinions please.

actually, I'd rather they were tortured for info, then shot & left to rot as a warning to other muzzy scumbags.

Don't know who you are are how old you are or even where you live , but I want to say that if you ever decide to run for office please let me know and I will handle your campaign in Texas . I love the way you think . Those poor detainees would be begging on their hands and knees to go back to Gitmo and the waterboards than to stay in the general public with people who lost loved ones ( they have few enough ) in the 9-11 episode. Yea let those libs and the grand Potentate close Cuba and bring them all here and put them in the general public with the ones who have been missing a woman's company for the last 2- - 30 years and the only one that did care about them was killed in New York . You are one very bright young lady .

Actually they have released many of the people there, and im sure given enough time the rest will be as well.
But no I dont oppose it.
They UN has said people being held there are treated better than in any prison in the world.
There may have been som incidences of misconduct but in general those people there are treated well.

I am not in opposition. They can stay locked up there for eternity for all I care. At least these are a few less criminals that would destroy children and families, as well as plot against American citizens.

They would give you poppycock about them not having a trial when these people are the enemy. They may rot there for all I care.

One less danger to worry about by keeping them right where they are. If they need to have a trial, let them pay for it. Not my tax dollars!

Hath any man a conscience?

If justice be found, none can find wrong...

If America be kept safe, then the job of Gitmo has been done.

I am in favor of the military doing whatever is necessary to protect the US. The bleeding heart liberals certainly are not willing.

The U.S has not produced the tiniest shred of credible evidence to show that any of these men played a role in terrorist activities. Obviously the very idea of ''justice'' is a concept that you and your ilk are not familiar with. Stop your hypocritical and dishonest preaching of democracy and human rights to the rest of the world when your country clearly has nothing but contempt for these noble causes.
