Fighting solves nothing? What about things worth defending when they are attacked?
I'm not a 'Hawk' in any sense, I'm just trying to play devil's advocate a bit. Sometimes, it is right to fight for something, isn't it? I honestly don't agree that anyone should just roll over and accept aggression - the flip side of that coin being that if everyone suddenly lost the capacity for aggression today, there would be no need for it, I suppose.

No I dont think you can ever really win. But I am sure you can really and truly LOSE. Ask the Kampucheans, Jews, Tasmanian Aboriginals, American Indians, Carthaginians etc etc
