Would you rather be a defense lawyer or a prosecutor? And please explain why. Thanks.

A prosecutor.
Though i spend most of my time defending people IRL lol,
if i were a lawyer, i would rather prosecute;
The reason being, not because i think that the accused do not deserve defense, but because (whereas it concerns rapists, pedophiles, murderers etc) I'd rather remove them from society, then have to be the one charged with the job of keeping them in it.
Besides, though i believe and understand that everyone deserves defense, and am one that is all for grace and second changes, i also could not rationalise defending someone that i knew was guilty of commiting a horrific crime.
Though i believe in Grace, i also believe in consequences. As well as believe in justice.

*edit* frankm: um, that's kind of an ignorant assumption. maybe some are, but not all lawyers are liars.

If I was defence lawyer I would not be able to look myself in the face, when shaving, in the mornings.
I'd wanna be a prosecutor & help chuck them crims in the slammer!

prosecuter because i can't see defending a guilty person and if they really are guilty and you win a big case like murder or something and they walk, think of how the victims family would feel.
But then again if you are all about the money, in my opinion defense makes more money since theres always people that need someone to defend them.

I'd be a prosecuter if I had to choose, but I think lawyers are all liars and I wouldn't want any part of their profession.

Prosecuter. No way could I defend people I knew were guilty. I wouldn't trust anyone to tell me the truth anyway.

if i was a lawyer id be a sleeze bucket who had no interest in whats best for my client as long as im making big money out of their misery.
