Including credit cards, loan and student loan (but not including 3 mortgages) I am in about £23k debt

I am selling one of my properties to pay this off and another property to pay for my wedding and honeymoon next year.

It has taken a massive amount of planning and I am hoping to have paid off all my debts (except for my current mortgage) and have my honeymoon and wedding paid for.

If I can do this by next year, when I turn 29 then I will be a very happy person indeed! Literally for the last 10 years I have been in constant debt so I cannot imagine what a sense of relief it will be to be debt free.

I am lucky as I have done well with buying and selling properties, but I really feel for people who have not had the same opportunities as me- how on earth I would pay off £23k without them is a scary thought.

No wonder some people resort to faking their own deaths in canoes!

Yes, I owe $180 for water etc at the moment and about $550 on the credit card. All the other bills are paid! Gotta get an airline ticket though.

I owe banks, credit cards, and building societies thousands, and have no intention of paying any of it back. I am blacklisted for life and could not care a jot. It just means I cannot sign anything or vote or hold a bank account, but there are ways round that for those in the know.

yes i am in quite a bit and i am planning on getting out of it. I applied for a loan through a loan broker and was told to pay them a fee and they would process it with in five working days which i thought was a bit odd so i decided against this in case it was a con. Thinking of that i now know m next q !

No I don't. I have no debts, only utility bills and property taxes. It's very easy to stay out of debt. Save your money first then buy what you want. If it's not worth the hassle of saving for, it's not worth having.

Only my mortgage and student loans. I will eventually pay off both debts. I don't use credit cards for items I cant afford. Basically, i pay cash for everything but use my card for gas at the pump. It's convenient and I just pay it off monthly to avoid finance/interest charges.

yes but not tens of thousands of pounds only about 5 grand.

i'm pay it off by giving a little to everyone, some i've already paid off and its a great feeling others will take time but i'll get there.

and no more debt its not worth it.

Only on one store card myself. My hubby has the rest. I don't like being in too much debt.
