I don't see how one persons life is of lesser value than anothers. I personally would try to save them all. I don't believe that just because a teen is speeding and loses control they should be forced to suffer as well as #1. The #2 cannot be helped no matter what. What I mean by that is....1 and 3 can be helped by not using the phone while driving and following the speed limit. #2 on the other hand cannot stop himself from getting cancer. He can only hope that with the right treatment it goes into remission. Everyone needs saving at some time in their life.

This is such an ambiguous question, there's no way to respond. I'm guessing that your two primary considerations in this analysis are victim-fault, the age of the victim, and potential loss for family members.
Many would choose number 2 because he appears to be the least at fault. Cancer, unlike speeding or driving while on the phone, is a medical condition which one cannot control. Additionally, two young kids and no wife implies that he may be a single father with no caretaker for the children.
People might not choose 1 and 3 because they seem to have some culpability in their plight. Both are in danger due to their own irresponsible driving.
These facts are too limited to decide who to save, regardless of one's value judgments -- even a slight clarification changes each scenario entirely. Consider the following:
1. The woman calls for directions to the hospital as she rushes her 2 year old daughter to the emergency room.
2. The older man develops cancer due to smoking and illicit drug use; his 2 children have no contact with him as he refuses to acknowledge them and pays no child support.
3. Young teen learns her grandmother just suffered a heart attack and she speeds home to help.
You get the idea. Without additional information, there's no way to know the major differences between the cases. Even if we could distinguish their level of fault, endless questions about the victims and families remain.
Bottom-line answer: I don't know. =)

tuff one. I guess not #2 because i cant cure cancer, And, I hate it when I see people talking on the cell phone while driving. But on the other hand she has young children who need her. The teen was being an idiot by speeding, but probably has a family who loves him. If I were to come up on this situation, not knowing anything about the personal circumstances of the accident i would probably choose the teenager, because of being so young. but im guessing the answer would be obvious when the time came to make the decision.

I would help an old man who has no wife and hes sick of cancer and cant really do all the things that two young kids want ....( the wants , cooking , reading to them taking them places to play and interact with other kids ,Educate them etc )
I think he ,himself needs to take care of this health.. and needs some one to make him a bath , cook for him shop for him and help him coop up with the lose of his Beloved wife .... i think this what i found to be more of what i can do for someone as in this situation than the other two ....
coz one ....she could have waited for her to pack the car and call her husband and child ..coz the driving rules doesn't allow pipo to drive and make calls ....she must have done that on purpose ...
- The young teen speeding and loses control ...could be that he was mad about something from home and by the end of the day he will be okay ..( he will come back to his senses to learn that what he did was wrong and so it could work out in a day or two )
But with the old mans situation i find it so much to be the one really to look at and think of a way to help ....
I hope you will find this meaning full because i did ..i think that's just me ....
Thanks for letting me share this with you ....
Good day !

I would save the older man with cancer and the two young kids.
the first one she shouldn't be talking and driving
the third one the teen shouldn't be speeding therefore would not lose control.
Those two made their own fate happen.
The older man has the young kids and I think they deserve to live.

3.
because young teen has the most potential among three. And only except that she/he speeds, there doesnt seem to be any other cause of accident she/he should take the responsibility of. Because the kid is not mature enough and still too young, he/she wouldn't be able to rationally behave all the time. She/he needs more education, rehabilitation ultimately in order to become a better person. By saving his life from the crisis, he would appreciate and try to be even more contributory person in future.
1st woman caused the problem autonomously which was even illegal.
2nd man has the least time to live in rest of the life because he has cancer.

I would pick the third one: The young teen speeding and losing control. Although he (supposing it`s a guy) seems like he doesn`t have anything in his hands (like a family). But I guess I would save him because of that. He hasn`t experienced yet the true joy of life like everyone deserves to. Plus the old man is probably mature enough to accept death and enduring enough pain to even embrace it. The woman should have known better enough to not call and drive. The teen is young and therefore isn`t mature enough to understand the danger of speeding. He has a whole life ahead of him. I`d like to give it to him.
