Look for a sweater dress, they're casual enough to go with Uggs. And if you want you can pair it with tights or leggings.
A red one would look good with black Uggs (especially for christmas). Then add some black jewelry and maybe a handbag. Any color could work though, just accessorize with black to tie everything together.
If you want to wear a black dress you could do that too. Maybe pair it with a contrasting color of tights and jewelry. Then the color in your outfit would totally pop.
This Christmas I'm planning on wearing my tall black Uggs, and I bought a red and black, casual, plaid dress to go with them. It looks way cute, and also pretty festive for the holiday. So maybe you could try something like that.
Hope this helped =]

Then the Uggs were a bad idea. I really hate these shoes. But, that being said, you might try a sort of casual dress made from and obviously wintery material, a coduroy jumper (you know, not a sweater--a dress you wear over a blouse: I suddenly wonder if Brits call the garment something else) would be a good place to start. Wear opaque tights or leggings.

You should wear a black jumper with like a argyle sweater under it with Black opaque tights or leggings. The jumper should come down about 6" above your knees. I would probably go for like the footless leggings because then you still get the feel of the UGGs on your feet, but tights are also awesome. This is one of my favorite outfits to wear, and it looks really hot on girls too.

The only type which goes with Uggs is short dresses...any colour should work, but go for a plain style...in a soft jersey or plain wool...no jewelry becasue the thing about Uggs is that they are casual wear....failing that why not wear jeans and a really nice fluffy jersey or a little glam vest top and cardigan.

Ugh. I don't think dresses look good with Uggs. I love Uggs, but have always worn them with jeans. Uggs are so big and clunky, they just throw off the proportions of anything that doesn't come in contact with them, that is why they look better with jeans. Even jeans and a flirty tunic-y type of top, that is halfway between a dress and a top would be cuter than Uggs and a dress.
Also, Uggs with dresses are so 2003.

Defineltly go for a sort of jumper dress which has stripes all over it. Try and go for a wooly material, which is very tite on you. Or even have a baggy one!
You can accesorize it easily with a big belt.
Go for black or white in colour.,

I think the only kind of dress you can do is like the babydoll type you wear w/ black leggings, the dress itself could be any color. Don't try to wear a cocktail dress or anything formal, that I think would look stupid.

I don't think that you should feel compelled to wearing uggs on Xmas day - wear your cute dress with shoes and then wear the uggs on boxing day - you have all year to wear 'em.

A jumper dress maybe...but with a solid colored long sleeved shirt underneath because it's freezing outside! And tights or leggings.
