they'll have the home field advantage up to the conference championship and i understand there is a high probability of snow in their stadium at the time of the playoff.

they have a superb passing game but almost non-existent ground game.

the short passing game seems a logical choice for them in the snow.

to say that they have a running game but is not using it because there is no need right now isn't enough because it raises more questions than answers.

how good is their running game when they use it?

They will win like they did against the Raiders in 2001, by obscure rules that the refs will pull out of their ***. This is a good point, because against the Ravens last week when it was very windy, they struggled to a win, and the Ravens suck. I think Bellichick and the Pats will movercome with a short passing game and have to get Maroney going. They are incredible, and their D is pretty good. I think the games will be closer in the Playoffs, but The colts are a indoor team, and Jags and Chargers are southern teams, so I do not believe any of those teams will have much of an advantage in the cold and snowy Foxboro environment, and by the time they might play a cold weather team, Packers,Vikings or Seahawks the game will be in Arizona.

The snow shouldnt be a big factor. The patriots deal with the snow every year. Teams like the colts and other dome teams have problems in those conditions usually. I think the patriots will keep there same game plan. They feel teams. First they see what they can do as far as passing. If they dominate the team they keep passing..If not they switch it up with rushing and short passes to running backs and receivers. And they have good Te's in watson and kyle brady as they do with running backs maroney and faulk. I think there pretty much a complete team with a good veteran defense also.
In closing---
There running game is non existent due to them dominating with the pass. They can dominate the run if they needed to.
Brady + Moss = Another ring for the pats

Complete their perfect season culminating with their fourth superbowl win out of last seven. The 72 Dolphins can throw away that champagne. The ice is melting.Too bad for the Cowboys Only one loss and will most likely get blown out in the superbowl.I know how it is .My team went 16-1 onlty to be routed in AFC championship game in 2004. By who else. None other than The New England Patriots.

Just because the you haven't seen the Patriots run the ball much doesn't mean that they can't run the ball. The Patriots passing game is what they do best, so they do it often.
When the weather is bad, they can and will run the ball. It isn't their strength, but they can do it.

The game plan will be defense and that they are better than other teams in bad weather because they are used to it...They only ran on like 8 plays against the Steelers, so they really didn't try to run...They will when they need to...

the pats run game could be a big weakness. they had 2 shots at 4th and 1 vs Balt and didnt make it either time but they got bailed out by the Time Out and penalty on the pats they could not decline. they are only avg about 90 yds rushing per game

Have the snowplow operator on hand to clear a spot for their winning field goal. That, or have a grocery bag full of 20's to pay off the ref so they can get a win like they did over the Raiders.

Drop back Brady and throw the ball to Moss, Gaffney, Welker, and others. Same game plan they used today and the same one they use every week.

Play defense, run the ball. Maroney can pound it they just aren't giving him the ball.
