Is it true that when a girl is about to get her periods, seven days before and after the date, conceiving can increase chances of pregnancy? BEFORE and AFTER the date, is it so that having sex during that period can cause pregnancy.??

Not correct. It is safe to have sex seven days before due date and seven days from the date your period starts. Rest of the time is risky.

The ten days, after and before the periods, are more prone to pregnancy b'coz the vagina is wet and there are more chances of getting male sperms inside it.While during all the days (between those post and pre 10 days) the vagina is dry and there are no chances of getting pregnant!

Why do you think that 7 days before or after the date safe or not? Please have safe sex. Use condom and avoid unwanted pregnancy of your GF and avoid embarrassment both of you have to face later on.
Let there be plenty of safe sex with condom .Let the time come when you two get married and decide to have a child.Plan accordingly and .....don't become parents of unwanted child due to sheer accident.....ok?
God Bless

Those are the most likely dates that she could get pregnant. However, she should keep in mind that her body isn't a machine and doesn't run like clockwork (hey, even machines fail to work properly at times). So, she could actually get pregnant anytime. If the two of you don't want babies, use some sort of contraception. And, remember even contraception isn't 100%.

I've had four babies... different pregnancies.... you can't be safe at all. There is really no predicting when a woman ovulates (releases an egg to be fertalized). People can "guestimate" their time of ovulation... but it's not perfect. Every woman is different.... And every cycle (month) is different for the same woman.
