strength in runescape??

Question

ok so iv just made this new account in runescape called
jared n 2h. i am currently making it a strength pure. what i want to know is, do you just keep hitting 1s and 2s with only strength or will you eventually start hitting higher?

You will gain levels and eventually hit higher, that's it.
Of course, you will also gain combat levels and so forth.
Keep in mind, though that certain armour and weapons can only be worn/used by gaining Attack and Defense levels. Strength weaponry are only available to Members.

The higher your strength the higher you will hit. Also the better the weapon the better you hit. The max hit i every saw was a 110 in mem world.

I have to agree with hastings. Haveing a strength level of 99 won't do you any good if you don't actually hit your target. You have to also have attack. Attack determines how likely you are to hit. Strength determines how hard.

Personally I like pures. Their easy to kill. Relying on only one combat type & often having no defense makes them easy pickings when one of them is stupid enough to attack me. Oh look your praying, let me switch weapons faster then you can change prayer types or better yet , grab one of my weapons that hits THROUGH prayer. My... You died quick!

here's how it goes: attack is how often you hit, strength is how high u hit. so a strength pure can either be lucky and kill some1 in one or two hits, or else just looks like a noob never hitting.

a pure... here is what i reccomend for a good pure. 40 range. This will enable you too wear green d hide legs, this will enable you too block most melee, range, mage attacks. leave your def at one. DO NOT RAISE IT. get your attack too 40 for rune. then max out your str. that is the best f2p pure i know.
