Fairytale of New York (the Pogues & Kirsty McColl version - not any of the pointless cover versions) obviously stands head and shoulders above all other Christmas songs.
But we mustn't forget "Lonely Pup in a Christmas Shop" by Adam Faith either - nobody else here seems to have mentioned it which I find most strange.

i admire the Dreidel song because of the fact it has no longer something to do with Christmas or people yelling at one yet another or any of the different horrors of Christmas. It only has to do with creating an precise and fiddling with it.
