My spouse and I fought. I was trying to drive us to see Golden Compass, the beautiful movie with talking cats and bears. She hates me. She's going blind she says so she's staying with me. She badgers me verbally for hours about my being worthless. Then she acts like the discussion never happened.

Try to get busy doing something that you need to get done. Or perhaps exercise as someone else said. Ride a bike or play ball. Try your best to get help if you can - talk to a good friend, a counselor, a trusted teacher, anyone.
Everyone goes through hard times and most people do go through depression also. Just try to keep your head up, try to think positively. Good luck.

You can tell us anything-even if you're depressed again-did you know depression doesn't just go away in a day or two?-it takes time, but mostly you just need to talk to a professional. It works;I know cause I'm living proof. I'm under a state of deression since my dad passed away in Jul.2007-There is help through greivence counselling you might want to try-this is what's been keeping me going day to day.

Go to the doctor as soon as you can, while you are feeling this way and get some help. Also avoid processed foods and preservitives, they won't help your mood. Remember to think about how it does pass and then you will be thinking about why you were feeling this way in the first place. IT DOES PASS and you will feel normal again soon.

maybe you could talk to your doctor about this.. they are very familiar with depression.. and perhaps you could use a referral to talk with someone... it seems you are in a situation which bothers you very much.
