i know this leads one to say that everyone thinks there congressman is fine but everyone elses is the problem..... but why is this? what does it say about the way our constitution was designed?

I think it shouts volumes as to the apathy of the American people with the whole political process.

We vote in people who don't look out for us or can't because it is a system of "Whoring", I have to vote for someone else's project that I don't like to get him to vote for my project which he could not care less about.

I think term limits would help a little, but a new ******** every 2 (or 4 or 6) years may be as bad as the same ******** year after year after year.

The system is broken and I don't know how to fix it, so I just complain about it.... like everyone else.

Check out ANY on line dictionary to see the difference in meaning between these two following words...POLITICIAN, REPRESENTATIVE. I'm reasonably sure you will get the message after comparing the two words as to meaning! It's the American voter that has been transformed into a "sales mans sucker."

The constitution must be changed to cure infirmities such as the voting for members of Congress.
