Like in the children's books, kids usually end letters with a P.S., and sometimes at P.P.S. I wish to know if it is correct to repeat the P. in P.S.

after one writes a letter....they sign it thinking they are finished writing the person.
Well, they forgot to tell the person something else so they put the P.S. down below on the left side and then continue on with the forgotten message.
Then, ready to put it in the envelope, someone comes in the room and sees that you wrote a letter to someone they also know and probably said, "Tell them i said hello".........so you get your letter out and put P.P.S on the left side and you are notifying them that AGAIN you need to tell them another message. So now, someone else will tell you the words for each of the letters...

P.S. is a shortened version of submit script, that can the two be defined as a message further to the tip of a letter, or further advice that finally ends up getting further to a manuscript.

P.S. = Post Script = after writing = note written after letter is written and closed w/ signature.

P.P.S. = Post, Post Script = after, after writing = note written after the Post Script was written.
