I think I'm going to go with a fire & ice party theme for this years Christmas party. Any ideas for how I could decorate or for the invitations? OR can you think of a better theme for the party? By the way money is not much of an issue so the bigger and more outrageous the better. The party is going to be for teens/college students so no drinking because everyone will be underage.

Your help is greatly appreciated! :) Thanks

just a thought, invitations could be a roaring fireplace with ice stockings melting on hearth. if outdoors, have a nice fire pit, serving hot apple cider, hot chocolate, and slushie machine! if you have access to a fireplace, marshmellows & sticks, smores, could be fun too. you have a really unique idea. I may borrow sometime! have fun, whatever you do. Merry Christmas - Gramma H

Well, lots and lots of lighted candles will certainly give you the fire element. If you can either make some ice sculptures yourself or get someone to make them for you you can get the ice element. Since it's a Christmas party, try getting some "Christmas" scented candles. A balsam fir scent would remind folks of a Christmas tree and wreath. Yankee Candle has some really nice Christmas scents. Balsam Fir, Home for the Holidays, Christmas Cookies, Gingerbread, Frankincense, Christmas Wreath, etc. You can undoubtedly find some great Christmas scents from other candle companies as well. Or if you're not worried about the scents, just get some red, green, gold, and silver candles. For ice sculptures, think things like a tree, an angel, Santa, baby Jesus, ect.
